So I am preparing for a visit to Las Vegas soon! I am going to be going to several pool parties as one of my friends knows a promoter etc.. I have been to one Vegas pool party, the one at The Luxor, Temptation Sundays, last year for my birthday. We had an absolute blast! It is supposed to be Vegas' largest LGBTQIA pool party and we got a cabana. It was great to have a space for our group to "call home base" and the vibe was super cool. Being The Speed-oh King it was so fun to be at such a large group event with so many others wearing speed-ohs!
I am a bit nervous as this trip, we have plans to go to Wet Republic, Liquid, TAO Beach as well as our pool at The Linq. The group I am going with probably won't want to do any cabanas, or day beds, etc... So I am not sure of a few things on navigating my planned parties... lol Does anyone know how these parties are with speed-ohs? Will I be the only one in a sea of below the knee board shorts? While I fully intend to wear my swim briefs I am just curious what is more normal? I am a planner, and can navigate most situations as long as I have a heads up on what to expect. Do I have to carry my shit with me the whole time? Will I have a tan line if so, from my bag strap? What do you see people doing to keep track of their personal belongings for the day? I feel a bit anxious (lol but once there and I have some drinks I'm sure I'll be fine)
So tell me, what has your Vegas pool party experience been at these places? Are there speed-ohs to be seen, is the group cool, what is the vibe, does anyone wear thongs? How do you keep track of your belongings if you are in on GA and not a VIP cabana, daybed etc.? Let me know in the comments!
