The Speed-oh Movement

A social media community dedicated to the curation of a body positive space with the belief that all bodies have value and that all bodies are speed-oh bodies! Through community based content we show bodies of all shapes and sizes wearing one of the best garments around, the swim brief! We foster an environment free of judgement and allow self expression and connection with other swim brief lovers.

In addition to the community based content we work with designers, brands, and companies to create a dynamic and interactive collaboration campaign using our awesome team of ambassadors. The campaigns help bring brands to the community that is currently over 33k members on our Instagram accounts, over 6,200 members on our TikTok account, and over 1,000 members on our Facebook account for a total of over 40k total members on our social media pages. This results in sales and increased brand awareness. Some of the brands we have had the honor of working with include:

I’m Alex and I enjoy being poolside with a gin cocktail in my hand, always love being by the ocean but will rarely be in the water! You can catch me lounging in the sun in only my speedo and sunglasses! I am a Realtor, Veteran, and healthcare provider. I was Raised in Arizona and after serving in the United States Navy, started my career as an EMS provider, working on my education and ultimately became a medical aesthetics specialist. I originally started my real estate career in 2015 and have actively participated in the industry ever since. Now practicing real estate full-time, I have the know-how, the resources and the determination necessary to serve my clients, and love producing the best financial outcomes for their real estate transactions. I am also is a member of several local organizations, including the Emerging Leaders Society, the Human Rights Campaign- Arizona, Arizona Localists, the Arizona Botanical Gardens, and the Phoenix Art Museum. I’m Chris. Born in Virginia but moved to Colorado about 10 years ago and never looked back. I can usually be found in a pair of meggings with my two pups sipping on a glass of wine or an espresso martini. I enjoy hiking, camping, traveling and spending time with my friends. I began a journey of body positivity about 3 years ago which started when I put on my first pair of meggings. It has only grown since finding TSM! I never thought I had the “right body” for a speedo but now you won’t catch me in anything else. Joining TSM is the best crossover bringing two of my favorite things together!

I was born and raised in El Salvador, but, South Florida has been home for most of my life at this point. Hey, I’m Keith! I have been super into men's underwear, swimwear and sportswear for as long as I can remember. Since I got my first job out of high school, I have had a blast evolving and curating my collection throughout the years. As a former interior designer I learned to love a vast variety of textile types and patterns which I feel I have brought to my underwear collection just over 1,000 pairs strong. I love all kinds of underwear from slinky thongs, to tighty whiteys and everything in between. I currently live in Boise, ID with my amazing husband and my pup, Hank. I work in the fitness Industry as a group fitness coach, personal trainer, and I manage a growing fitness start-up company. When I’m not at work or hanging in my undies you can find me surrounded by flowers in the garden, working on some sort of arts and crafts project, or exploring the outdoors with my friends. My name is Jason and I’m 42 years young. I live in Freeport New York, but I was born and raised in Durham North Carolina. I currently work in human resources where I love making a difference for the every day employee. I’ve been married to my husband Steven for 10 years and we currently have six fur babies (2 dogs and 4 cats). When I’m not working, I love traveling and spending time with friends. I consider any place that has a beach a vacation no matter the occasion. I’ve always loved wearing a swimsuit because it’s a symbol of vacation and fun times (if you add a martini ) and definitely a required item. Like my swimsuit my body has changed over the years and I’ve enjoyed finding new ways to love the skin I’m in. I’ve always enjoyed wearing a speedo from the more boxy to the barely there. For me, it was an opportunity to show my personality, embrace body positively and still feel cute.

"I'm Eddy (Edgar), born and raised in SoCal, I am the TSM Tech and IT/Digital Art Guru. I remember my first speed-oh I ever had was when I was 4. It was checkered patterned black/white with hot-pink on the back and had a Snoopy on it. They were my favorite speed-oh till I outgrew them. Since then I didn't wear any speed-ohs anymore because I was very self-conscious (still am at times) of my body of what people would think of me because I use to be bigger and I didn't want to get made fun of or be teased about it being "gay" (BS male masculinity). So I didn't wear any speed-ohs for years and would only wear a shirt and shorts. It wasn't till my early 20s and I was in college that I began to love myself and started doing things that I wanted to do and not care what everyone else thinks. At times I still struggle with wearing a speed-oh (body image, straight & queer community), but I definitely feel much more comfortable now learning to love myself more and seeing more body positivity, diversity and support in the world.
